Kate Horn MA FRICS CEDR Accreditated Mediator - Surveyor

Kate has 35 years experience in commercial property as a chartered surveyor and acts as a consultant to SH Surveyors in all aspects of commercial property. Kate leads our professional department and is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and a member of the RICS Regulation Committee. She is a Registered Valuer and a Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution (CEDR) Accredited Mediator. She has acted as expert witness both at County Court and Arbitration and before independent experts and is conversant with Civil Procedure Rules in this area. Kate has a degree in modern languages and speaks French and Spanish.
Rosie Weller BSc MBA MRICS ACIM – Surveyor

Rosie is a chartered surveyor with wide experience of commercial property, and has been with SH Surveyors since 2009. Rosie has worked as an asset manager and is familiar with all aspects of landlord and tenant work, including the restructuring and regearing of leases. She has provided advice on tenant mix policy and on location strategy for retailers. Rosie has completed several hundred rent reviews and lease renewals, including prime retail properties in some of the UK’s premier retail shopping centres and major industrial units. She now specialises in rent reviews in London and other parts of the UK.
Helen Glassborow - BSc MRICS – Building Surveyor

Helen is a chartered building surveyor with 14 years experience in the industry. She has worked on various properties in and around London, including the Carnaby Estate, Hampton Court Palace, and is now in private practice. She undertakes a variety of building surveying work including specification writing, project management, dilapidations, party walls, as well as general building advice, with particular knowledge of traditional/historic buildings. Helen has a degree in building surveying, and is a Member of RICS and a member of the RICS Dilapidations Forum.
Tekla Byfield

Tekla is a trainee surveyor who assists on all aspects of SH’s work, including the commercial agency, and leads some rent reviews, lease renewals and disposals. Tekla achieved entry through the Chartered Surveyors Training Trust. He is currently studying on a day release basis with the College of Estates Management.
